5.5' long and ½" wide. Made with 100% BioThane. This leash is waterproof, odor-free, and cleans easily with running water.

After using and trying hundreds of different leashes over the years, we decided to create our own dream leash. This beautifully textured leash looks like leather but is made from BioThane -- a more durable material, manufactured in Ohio.

Wilde American’s leash also comes with over 2" of custom red stitching at both the clip and handle. The stitching reinforces both ends, providing extra durability. We’ve selected a superior clip for our leash. It has a large thumb stud, making it easy to attach to your dog’s collar. Even on a cold day, even with gloves on, you’ll be able to use the thumb stud comfortably. There’s no visible spring, which keeps it clear of dirt and other debris which can jam up your clip.

There are enough 6' long leashes available already. We also shortened the handle loop to 6", which is 3" shorter than the industry standard of 9", offering better control.

We wanted to create something different that would help you avoid fumbling with the leash on cold winter days or when your hands were wet. The large thumb stud also makes it easy to attach to your dog’s collar.

The BioThane has a guaranteed strength of 1000 pounds per inch. This is 1/2" Biothane, which means it can handle 500 pounds on the leash alone. The clip rating is only slightly lower than that.
