Our new clips are custom built for Wilde American in Connecticut out of nickel-coated zinc. Based on customer feedback, we've improved the clip design with better grip and security, ensuring your hands don't slip off the bolt—even when wearing gloves.
We love BioThane for its durability, ability to repel odors, and easy clean-up. Simply wash your leash under running water if it gets dirty, and it’ll look as good as new!
The metal D-ring addresses a common issue with pinch collars, specifically Sprenger-style pinch collars. Over time, these collars can fail and pop off as the links wear out. The added D-ring allows a user to hook the leash directly to a Switchback Safety Line and the dog's backup collar, significantly reducing the risk of the dog becoming unleashed if the pinch collar fails.
If you don’t use a pinch collar, these also serve as a great place to attach your poo bag holder for quick clean-ups when you’re out in public.
Our US-made BioThane has a guaranteed strength of 1000 pounds per inch. This is 1/2" BioThane, which means it can handle at least 500 pounds on the leash alone. The clip rating is only slightly lower than that.
