The short answer: YES! You can use our 6" or 12" switchback safety line to attach any two pieces of gear. If your dog wears a harness and sometimes tries to escape it, you can connect a back-up collar and the harness so that you will still be connected to the dog if she gets out of the harness.

The BioThane strap has a guaranteed strength of at least 1000 pounds per inch. This is ⅜" BioThane so it can handle 375 pounds on the strap alone. The micro clip rating is only slightly lower than that.
