Answer from Wilde American founder Carter Wilde: I’ve never broken one of our micro leashes. I’ve also used them to attach straps in my truck bed. The BioThane has a guaranteed strength of 1000 pounds per inch. This is ⅜" BioThane, which means it can handle 375 pounds on the strap alone. The micro clip rating is only slightly lower than that.
